Award-winning social media consultant and Streets Ahead Social Managing Director, Dane Thomson is pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with innovative business events host, Business Matters Edinburgh.

Business matters exists to support, serve and encourage those working in the business community in Edinburgh through an innovative and accessible programme of useful events tailored to promote personal and professional development.

With his Streets Ahead Social ‘emoji glasses’ on, Dane will oversee and localise the social media communications for the brand-new Business Matters ‘In Pursuit of Certainty’ theme.

The ‘In Pursuit of Certainty’ event series kicks off on Tuesday 19th June with ‘The Psychology of Positively Handling Uncertainty’ hosted by leading business consultant, Eric Smith and led by world-famous motivational coach, psychotherapist, sports psychologist and business mentor, Steven Turnbull.

Members of the Edinburgh (and surrounding areas) business community are invited to come along to this FREE ‘lunch and learn’ style event on Tuesday 19th June from 12.30-13.30 at Brodies LLP, 15 Atholl Crescent Edinburgh, EH3 8HA.

Speaking about bringing Streets Ahead Social on board for this exciting new partnership, event organiser Paul Fenton said:

“I am thrilled that Streets Ahead Social will be the official social media partner for this event series. I know what an asset Dane will be in terms of putting us in touch with and helping us support more of the Edinburgh (and surrounding areas) business community who are looking to increase their confidence and levels of certainty in the workplace.”

Sharing Paul’s enthusiasm, Streets Ahead Social Managing Director, Dane Thomson said:

“I am over the moon to be the official social media partner for this exciting Business Matters Edinburgh ‘In Pursuit of Certainty’ event series. The Business Matters team serve the Edinburgh business community with such passion and dedication and I am proud to join forces with them.

I met Paul Fenton back in 2016 at a ‘Life Stories at Lunch’ event and we have kept in touch ever since. This exciting partnership is proof of why you should take the time to build and nurture relationships with friends in business, as you never know what brilliant things you will collaborate on in future.

Furthermore, I am confident that both Streets Ahead Social and my friends in business will benefit from this ground-breaking event. I urge anyone struggling with uncertainties in life and/or their business to clear a slot in their diary for this special lunch event. Come along with the things that cause you uncertainty in mind and leave ready and able to tackle them in a positive way."

With so many uncertainties in the world to explore, one thing that IS for certain is that you DON’T want to miss this event!
